THE ANOMALY ON MARS 0.74.0 gives every hull its own skill tree, puts permanent upgrades on one shared skill-point balance, and brings cooperative Survival to the same release on Windows, Steam and Linux.
your hull, your tree
Choose a hull to see its sixteen upgrades. Each tree fits that ship's weapons and abilities, with an inspector explaining the next rank, its cost and what you need first. Achievements and enemy or boss kill milestones now earn the same skill points.
Your previous global upgrade purchases are refunded automatically. Your earned achievements, unlocked ships, cosmetics and currencies stay yours. Spend those points across your fleet, refund one hull, or refund every hull for free. Daily still ignores permanent upgrades.
squad up
Two to four pilots can share a Survival run using a generated lobby code. Steam and standalone pilots can play together, bringing their own ships, upgrades, names and colours. Everyone needs the matching new release.
More pilots bring more enemies. Fallen teammates return at the next checkpoint, and pausing freezes the shared fight. Each pilot gets a personal card draft with rerolls and banish; the squad waits for every choice. Skipping a reward asks first.
Guests have clearer aim markers, minimaps, asteroids, pickups and ore, their own ship sounds, and smoother motion between updates. Team records show the whole squad and remain separate from solo runs. Global results are unverified community scores.
more fight, fewer cheap shots
Horde adds more enemies and quicker arrivals without increasing their movement speed. Swift remains a separate choice. Harrow's ground strikes give you more time to get clear. Warp launches immediately, and Hard explains its W3.5 unlock on the difficulty screen.
Thinner Survival walls leave clearer passages. Incoming rocks and bosses wait for safe entrances. A separate utility kit gives you ways to patch up a build, and Swarm stops wasting drops when your permanent drone wing is full.
a steadier home base
Website updates now hand over cleanly, with recovery after connection hiccups. Steam visitors have a dedicated game page, and large mutator combinations keep every active rule on the leaderboard.
